Jean-Marie Castellani was born in Marseille in 1947.
A visit to a painter’s studio in his early childhood was a revelation: the magic of color has never left him.
In 1990, he decided to make his passion his professional activity, and perfected his skills in the studios of other artists, as well as at the École des Beaux-Arts in Aix-en-Provence for the study of drawing.
His first studio-gallery was created in Aix-en-Provence and was the beginning of an exciting human and artistic adventure.
His customers quickly became international, his works travelled to Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan…
Bonds of friendship and loyalty are woven and remain to this day thanks to this irreplaceable contact in his gallery, directly with his clients.
After more than 20 years of presence, this passionate city will pay him a beautiful tribute.
In 2010, he opted for a more “seasonal” rhythm, and opened his new gallery in the heart of the Luberon, on a site of exceptional beauty.
Since 2021, Jean-Marie Castellani has reached the age where it is good to be closer to his grandchildren and to enjoy them. He has therefore settled in Vichy, his heart city.
His works have been placed on permanent display in the heart of the city.
